Muay Thai fighters from around the world converged on Bangkok for a festival celebrating the combat sport.

Footage shows the event organised by the Muay Thai World Boxing Council at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on February 2.

The event featured 600 competitors from more than 60 countries competing in the WBC MuayThai World Championship across various youth and adult classes.

In addition to the in-ring action, attendees had the opportunity to explore various booths offering a wide array of unique Muay Thai merchandise, including custom gear and collectables.

Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that utilises punches, elbows, knees, and shins in striking attacks and defense.
