A lion dancer fell from a 5-metre-high pole during a performance in southern China.

Terrifying moment filmed in Zhenjiang City in Guangdong Province on March 6, shows a man, performing a high-altitude lion dance tragically falling from a rotating pole five metres above the ground, plummeting to the earth as onlookers rushed forward in alarm.

Eyewitness Mr. Wang recounted the harrowing incident, suggesting that the performer might have lost his grip, leading to the fall that resulted in injuries.

Miraculously, the man was conscious and able to sit up before he was swiftly taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

By March 8th, the injured performer bravely came forward to share his condition. Suffering from a fractured wrist, internal bleeding in the lungs, and back injuries, he expressed gratitude for the concern shown by the public.
