In a recent operation in the Hamad area, IDF's Egoz Unit soldiers successfully eliminated Hamas members and raided multiple targets inside multi-story buildings. The intense week-long activity involved Maglan and Egoz Unit soldiers operating in the heart of the area, targeting various Hamas structures.

One of the key highlights of the operation was the raid on a structure used by Ahmed Klab, the Deputy Battalion Commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, where a significant amount of weapons was uncovered. Utilizing intelligence and precision aerial support, the soldiers swiftly neutralized Hamas cells hiding in the buildings and effectively dealt with booby-trapped structures.

During the operation, Egoz soldiers were able to identify Hanas members barricaded in a building and called in an IAF aircraft to strike, resulting in the elimination of four militants.
