On March 21st, at Shanghai's Jing'an Temple, ahead of the opening of Apple's largest flagship store in mainland China, a large crowd of Apple fans gathered, forming long queues. Among them, an elderly lady loudly accused the queue-goers of being overly infatuated with foreign brands, proudly declaring her use of Huawei. This incident swiftly sparked heated debates online.

Eyewitnesses reported that outside the Apple store, the elderly lady pointed angrily at the queue of Apple enthusiasts, accusing them of being overly fond of foreign brands. A young man retorted, "How am I being overly fond of foreign brands? I use whatever phone I like, what's the problem? I choose the products I like!" Another young man chimed in, "Do you know how many jobs Apple has brought to China?" To which the lady replied defiantly, "We don't need them." The young man pressed, "You mean jobs?" And the lady answered, "No, we have our own Huawei."

On March 22nd, Apple's customer service responded, stating they do not advocate for such conflicts and will report to leadership to enhance security measures.
