A majestic black panther was spotted at the Pakke Tiger Reserve in northeastern India's Arunachal Pradesh.

This incident took place in Rilloh Wildlife Range within the Pakke Tiger Reserve located in the East Kameng district of the state on March 11.

Visuals showed the black panther walking into the area majestically. The big cat then stopped and seemed to dig up a bit of ground with its hind legs. It subsequently sat down for a while and looked around.

Black panthers are rarely seen in the wild and it is one of those occasions where the wild animal was seen in its natural habitat in all its glory. This visual was captured by the Pakke Tiger Reserve during a camera trapping exercise in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI).
