Revellers descended onto Broad Street in Birmingham on Thursday 28 March evening into the early hours of Good Friday.

The partygoers took advantage of the Easter Bank Holiday on Friday to let their hair down despite Storm Nelson still bringing strong winds and cold temperatures to the region.

Police responded in numbers to a domestic arguement that resulted in one man being arrested.

The nightclub Rosies was busy along with Snobs and Heidi's.

Those who braved the cold weather enjoyed their evening with some finishing the night off with a takeaway and others helped friends with a piggyback.

Venues are expecting a good weekends trade as the weather is expected to clear over Saturday.
