A cute dog looked incredibly happy with her handiwork after ripping a sofa to shreds.

When Paul Gervais returned home in the US from work on April 2 he found his rescue dog, aptly named Princess Tsunami, sitting in a pile of foam.

Hilarious footage shows the heeler/mix sitting next to a shredded cushion behind her before climbing on to the arm of the chair while wagging her tail.

As Paul tells her she’s a ‘bad girl’ Princess Tsunami even rolls around with the foam lying around her clearly unrepentant for her destruction.

Paul said: “I was mad, but quickly got over it, she’s so cute she disarmed me quickly. Unfortunately now she has to stay in a room without a couch while we are at work.

“She tore the couch apart with her teeth and claws, she accomplished this in the seven hours while I was gone at work.

“She has torn some pillows, and blankets but never anything like the couch. She knew she was in trouble so was trying to be as cute as possible.

“She loves to tear stuffed animals open so she can remove the stuffing, I think she thought that the couch was a toy.”
