On April 9, 2024, drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted an attack on the Borisoglebsk aviation training center for flight personnel, named after V.P. Chkalov, located in the Voronezh region of Russia. Two Ukrainian drones crashed into the facade of the center building in the city of Borisoglebsk, causing damage to the training center. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the attack. The Borisoglebsk Center serves as a vital institution for training pilots for the Russian Aerospace Forces, highlighting the potential vulnerability of such strategic assets to hostile actions.
