The Valencia Provincial Fire Consortium has successfully concluded extinguishing efforts for the fire that broke out yesterday afternoon at the Cecotec household appliances company in Sollana, Valencia, around 6:00 am on April 8.

The blaze, which ignited at approximately 3:43 pm, engulfed five warehouses and partially damaged another out of a total of seven at the company's logistics warehouse in the town.

The blaze, which ignited at approximately 3:43 PM, engulfed five warehouses and partially damaged another out of a total of seven at the company's logistics warehouse in the town.

Fortunately, no one was inside the premises at the time of the fire except for security personnel.

Firefighters from Torrent, Silla, Catarroja, Burjassot, Alzira, Cullera, and three command units (an officer, a sector chief, and a sergeant) were mobilized to the scene and worked tirelessly throughout the night to extinguish the flames.


The fire damaged five and a half warehouses out of the company's total of seven, causing partial collapse of some walls and affecting appliances, spare parts, and packaging materials.

Cecotec issued a statement on its official Facebook account, acknowledging that the fire impacted the factory designated for technical service for the repair of appliances and devices. The company expressed gratitude for the prompt intervention of firefighters and emergency teams.
