Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a high-rise building engulfed in flames.

The video, captured in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on Tuesday, shows the skyscraper on fire while smoke rises into the sky.

According to local reports, the central air conditioning unit caught fire and the blaze spread from the fifth floor to the 24th.

Fortunately, 17 fire trucks and more than 150 officers managed to put it out in half an hour, and there were no reported injuries.

According to local reports, because the central air conditioning equipment broke down, it set 5th floor to 24th floor of the skyscraper on fire.

17 firefighter vehicles and more than 150 police officer extinguished the fire in half an hour.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
