Shocking footage has emerged from China of a training manager appearing to "spank" bank employees during a training session.

According to reports, the video, captured in Changzhi, Shanxi Province last Saturday, shows the trainer asking the bank employees standing in row on stage why they performed badly during the day.

Apparently disatisfied with their responses, he spanks them one-by-one with a plank.

However, the bank has reportedly denied the incident was any kind of punishment. The employees also don't appear to be hurt by the plank at all.
