Dispatched as a Structure fire in the area of East Center and North Locust Street in the Borough of Mount Carmel, Pa

State Police Fire Marshal Kirk Renn has ruled the origin of the blaze to be undetermined.

The fire believed to of originated on the 2nd division "C" side of 447 East Center Street.
Radio traffic indicated that MCPD confirmed a working fire prior to the FD arrival.

Upon arrival FF found the "C" side of the structure well off with smoke showing from all divisions and neighboring structures. The fire then spread horizontally into the neighboring structures via adjoining attics.
