Shocking footage has emerged from China of a zebra viciously attacking a zookeeper.

The video, filmed in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in December last year, shows the animal attempting to drag the worker across the ground.

According to reports, despite being kicked and bitten by the zebra, the zoo worker on had minor injuries and is already fully recovered and back at work.

The video, captured in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on December last year, shows a zebra trying to drag a worker away, while three men chase behind it.

According to local news, when the zoo keeper tried to drive the zebra to the exit, it suddenly attacked him.

It dragged him into the grasses first and kicked him.

Fortunately, he only had minor injuries on his hand, while he has already recovered and been back to work.
