Tyre falls off lorry and hits car causing crash
Dramatic footage has emerged from the US of a tyre falling off a lorry and clipping a car, causing it to crash.
The dashcam video, filmed on Highway 80 in Nebraska on March 25, shows one of two loose tyres cross the road and clip the car, causing it to spin out and slide into the central reservation.
"I smelled something burning and saw the rear left wheels of the truck in front of me were wobbling," the filmer wrote online.
"Then I slowed down to get some distance from the truck."
"The rear left wheels popped off the semi truck, two pieces went across the median [and] one of them crossed the road, the other one hit the car," he continued.
