Diving with Sea Lions Hornby Island Jan 8, 2017
I have had amazing experiences diving with sea lions off Hornby Island as you can see from my footage. I've found them to be very curious and playful, swimming over to interact with you. However one has to always remember that they are wild animals and to treat them with respect. In such situations it is always a mistake to feed wildlife as it causes them to associate humans with a food source, neither is it ever a good idea to taunt a wild animal, both scenarios may lead to unpleasant or even dangerous interactions.
