Officer Booker with the support of the Los Angeles Police Department would like to remind people that police officers are humans like everybody else. Their hope is to bridge the gap between the community and police by socializing under a positive light. Dancing and music knows no barriers, so what better way to show the community the police are approachable. Officer Booker stated, "One Community, One Love."

Officer Booker first met his dancing partner, Yomaira Torrado at the Cuban American Music Festival on 4th of June 2017 in Downtown Los Angeles in California. Yomaira asked Officer Booker to dance on a dare her friends proposed to her. Initially Officer Booker declined and told her he couldn't because he was working. After he cleared it with his supervisor, he approached Yomaira and danced with her for the first time.

Officer Booker was then invited by JC Ospina-Ortega to attend the 4th Annual Sancocho Latin Music Festival held on the 10th of June 2017 as a guest where he danced salsa with Yomaira Torrado once again. The Sancocho Festival was held at the Pomona Fairplex in California.
