Alibaba releases the first automated store in China

A cool footage has emerged from China of the first automated supermarket named TaoCafe providing shopping and dinning launched by Alibaba exposing on a festival.

The video, captured in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on July 8, shows engineers acting as customers to test the automatic payment system by taking grocery to pass the 'payment door' in different ways.

There is no staff and no checkout in the store. While, customers only need to scan the code at the entrance to get an electronic ticket and use the ticket to pass the door to do shopping.

After you finish shopping, you can just go to the payment doors. If the doors can open, the grocery can be checked out successfully after you walk through.
