A security camera video has emerged from China showing a driver pulling away from a petrol station with the pump still in his car.

In the clip, which was filmed in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on July 8, the petrol station worker is forced to run after the car as it speeds away dragging the nozzle and hose behind it.

The driver doesn't notice the petrol station worker waving and shouting and drives off onto a busy road.

The petrol station worker then hails a taxi to try to chase down the driver who is still oblivious to the fact that he's dragging a metre or two of hose behind him.

Eventually the petrol station worker catches up with the driver and takes his nozzle and hose back.

The CCTV video, filmed in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on July 8, shows a petrol station worker running after a car driving away as the nozzle hasn't been taken out.

Although the worker shouts and gives a sign to the car driver, he doesn't notice them.

Then, the worker takes a taxi to chase him immediately.

Because the car driver thought that the worker has already finished refuelling, he drove away in the middle of the process.

Finally, the staff caught up with the driver and took the nozzle back.
