Mother Moose Rescues Drowning Calf - The Outdoors Chef
Up early one morning after hearing the Moose Cow calving, we saw the incredible sight of the calf's first swim. Halfway down the lake the calf got hung-up on downed trees and became trapped. The mother worked for over 15 minutes trying to coax the calf out of danger. With just moments left before drowning the calf turned to it's mothers call and staggered out of the water.
