Dramatic security camera footage from China of a scooter rider narrowly avoiding being run over by a lorry.

In the clip, which was flimed in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province on July 30, the scooter rider crosses a junction in front of traffic which is stopped at a light.

The driver of the lorry doesn't notice the rider and ploughs right into her, knocking her off the scooter.

She somehow manages to roll out of the path of the lorry as her scooter is crushed beneath its wheels.

In the CCTV video, captured in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province on July 30, a lorry suddenly launches knocking down a scooter driver crossing the road.

Then, the woman rolls away from the underneath of the lorry immediately to avoid being run over.

According to local news, the lorry started to move forward when the traffic light turned to green and the lorry driver didn't see the scooter as it was in the blind spot.

Fortunately, the scooter driver only had scratches.
