Francisco Horta, a respected bodyboarder from Portugal, suffered an horrific wipeout during a recent heavy session in a secret spot on the West Coast of Portugal.

Horta caught the wave a bit late and air dropped, later he was caught inside the wave and dragged into to the rocks below after the wave explosion, where he impacted the reef, luckily he managed to end this episode with minor injuries.

This spot is locally known as "Boneyard" or the "Money Pit" because of it's very shallow reef, where the wave breaks with close to no water above the reef, many other surfers and bodyboarders got injured here in the past, yet a favourite spot for generating the best photos and footage of heavy action in the West Coast of Portugal.

Francisco Horta, is a 27 years old Bodyboarder, known in the Bodyboard community for his appetite for heavy waves and dangerous surf situations.
