Two teens, who tried to play a prank this Diwali, were left stunned.

They lit a powerful cracker under a metal vessel, which was used to store water in kitchen in their home.

In a video, shot by a friend, they can be heard speaking in Marathi. It can be gathered that the idea is to surprise their mother by denting the vessel with the help of a cracker.

They light the fuse after placing the vessel over the cracker and run to safety. The cracker instead of just denting the vessel launches it like a rocket over 100 feet in air.

The teens and their friends are taken aback, but recover quickly and go in pursuit of the neighbourhood missile that had fallen inside an apartment’s compound in the vicinity.

Luckily, the container returned to earth safely without hurting anyone.

The incident occurred at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India on October 20.
