State cross-country runner helps competitor over the line
Video from Missouri of a student athlete helping a competitor over the line in state cross-country championships.
In the video, filmed on November 4, a student can be seen with his arm around a fellow competitor as they approach the finish of the Missouri State Cross Country Championships, a race that the filmer describes as "a race in which the best athletes from across the state earn the right to compete by qualifying in highly competitive races leading up to this event."
He adds: "This young man sacrificed his opportunity to do well at the pinnacle of his season to aid a competitor having difficulty completing the race. I was moved by his personal sacrifice and had to share this moment with others."
No more details were known about the two competitors at the time of writing.
