Video of Qatar's National Day celebrations filmed in Doha today (December 18).

In the video, filmed in Doha, tanks pass through a large street in the city and soldiers march by in unison.

Qatar holds the national holiday every year on December 18 to mark its unification in 1878.

The show of force comes at a time when Qatar is at loggerheads with its Arab neighbours, who say the oil-rich state backs Islamist militants.

"Qatar National Day is celebrated every year with various traditional activities and costume displays, military parade, fireworks, and Qatari flag displays all over the country," the filmer explained.

This was shot by me, Chris Nebo, on the 18th December, 2017 at around 3:54pm at Corniche, West Bay Doha - Qatar. It's about Qatar celebration of their national day, which is a public holiday with so much fanfare and across Qatar.

The video was taken on the 18th of December around 3:30pm to 4:00pm , in Corniche, West Bay area of Doha Qatar in commemoration of its 138th year since its unification since 1878.

Qatar National Day is celebrated every year with various traditional activities and costume displays, military parade, fireworks, and Qatari flag displays all over the country. 

In attendance are all the dignitaries of Qatar, which saw the Emir's Father Sheik Hamad and his son the Sheik Sheik Tamim all present.

I was there with my wife to participate in affection to Qatar most especially on her solid stand against the embargo of June 5th imposed on her by four other Arab sister nations.
