"UGI Sighting" (Unidentified Golfing Incident)
I was leaving my neighborhood to go to work and as I rounded the corner of a big empty lot, I saw a vehicle parked at the roadside (RAV 4?) and there was a man with a bunch of golf balls on the ground. I could see he was using a "wedge" golf club to hit balls. That may sound "normal", but he was only 100m or so from a row of trees that line a water passage. He couldn't possibly hit them very hard or he'd lose them.
Of course, raw footage available upon request.
What the hell was this guy "practicing"? This was one of the most bizarre things I've seen in a while, and I was lucky to capture it with my helmet camera (a PX-Cam B51 for those interested). Had he been back at the corner where I turned, he would've had plenty of room to hit the balls. What was h.....okay I give up.
Location:
This used to be the end of An Ping Road (安平路) but they dug out the road to try to make it more accessible for boats and built a bridge nearby (安平水景橋), so this is now an unnamed section of road. There are no structures on it, so there are no road-name-plates on buildings. The former bus stop is even gone, so I don't know what to call this place.
The coordinates for the start of the video are:
22°59'54.0"N 120°09'09.5"E
22.998342, 120.152640
Always have a camera to capture fun things, friends!
