VIDEO - Hilarious moment golfer goes to take a shot but snaps his club in half
This is the hilarious moment a golfer went to take a shot before swinging and snapping his club in half.
Brian Aitken, 53, was playing a round of golf at Niddry Castle Golf Club in Winchburgh, West Lothian, Scotland, with his wife, Janice Speirs, 48.
The golf ball had come to a stop in some long grass by a tree when Brian, attempted to whack it to clear it.
But when he swung his club to strike the ball it hit the tree and snapped clean in half.
Bemused Brian had no idea what had happened until he looked down to see the broken club, while Janice can be heard laughing in the background.
Brian, from West Lothian, Scotland, said: "I was stunned, I couldn't believe it!"
Janice added: "We just couldn't stop laughing - it was hilarious. "
"He's always telling me he's the best golfer around! "
"He plays like three times a week, he's had to order a new set of clubs."
