Dangerous driving - Two drivers were prosecuted as a result of this dashcam footage demonstrating dangerous driving including tailgating, break checking and swerving to the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic.
The grey volvo tailgates the vauxhaul despite it being at the speed limit, follows less than 1 car length behind. Gets brake checked by the vauxhaul a couple of times. Overtakes the vauxhall (which tries to run him off the road mid overtake) and then brake checks him. Red vauxhaul had a child on board too.
As a result of this video the driver of the Vauxhal was convicted for driving without due care and attention, given 5 points, a £250 fine and made to pay £115 in costs.
The driver of the Volvo was convicted of dangerous driving, banned from driving for 12 months, fined £700, made to pay £370 in costs and is required to take an extended retest.
