Buzzards hunting starlings in mid air Murmurations
Exciting action at the Tarn Sike starling roost in Cumbria, with two buszzard trying to hunt the starlings in mid air. The two buzzards repeatedly fly thought the large starling flock trying to catch a starling with one half-hearted attempt, but is unable to succeed because the starlings move too fast and the murmurations seem to confuse the buzzards. In all the times I have been watching starling murmurations I have never seen this behaviour of theses two buzzards before.
