Man runs to evacuate 80-year-old father after Alaska tsunami alert
A resident of Kodiak Island off Alaska films himself running to rescue his frail 80-year-old father during the tsunami warning.
Tsunami warning sirens can be heard in the background in the video, filmed on Tuesday (January 23).
Writes the filmer: "After a minute-long earthquake, I went to get my father off his boat. I realized he can’t walk fast due to a deteriorating medical condition so I had to run to the top of the ramp and grab a harbour cart. He gladly accepted the ride and with the help of a few buddies we got him out of the danger zone."
