Motorist cuts corner making an illegal right turn, without looking & hits cyclist head-on
I was on my daily cycling commute in Sheffield. Coming out of a side road I was face to face with a motorist who was making an illegal right turn, completely cutting the corner, and he smashed straight into me. He wasn't looking, and was still accelerating at the point of impact. I was thrown off my bike, but aside from feeling a bit bashed up, I suffered no serious injury. The bike was a write off though. Driver accepted full liability and his insurance have taken care of new bike and compensation costs
