Police rescue boy trapped in bog
Police have rescued a seven-year-old boy trapped in a dangerous bog in eastern China.
The video, filmed in Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province on February 27, shows a policeman throwing a life buoy tied to a rope to the boy and trying to drag him out, but this first attempt fails.
A policeman tied to a rope then walks over on wooden planks to approach the boy, digging away the mud around him with his bare hands before pulling him out with the help of other villagers.
Local media said the boy, who was not familiar with the area, walked into the bog area by mistake.
Fortunately, he was not seriously injured.
