Hundreds of wild swans flocked towards a man as he fed them at a pond in Scotland.

Theses wild swans are fed twice a day by one of the wardens in front of the bird hide on the Whooper Swan pool at the Caerlaverock Wetland Centre in Scotland.

Theses wild swans are fed twice a day in front of the bird hide on the Whooper Swan pool by one of the warden. At the moment there is a mixed flock of about 200 Mute and whooper swans on the reserve making this a spectacular sight and sound to observe.
The Whooper swans are the ones that make all the noise which spend the winter at the Caerlaverock Wetland Centre grazing on grass in the fields and feeding on the grain provided each day by the centre staff. In a few weeks time the Whooper swans will migrate to Iceland where they breed over the short summer. The more common Mute Swans don’t migrate but move to local lakes and rivers to nest and bring it their families.
