My husband and I waited 7 years to begin our family. My younger sister has four kids ranging in ages 5 to 9 and they have been my surrogate children. The oldest is a boy and the last three are girls. They have one other girl cousin, Olivia (not pictured). As you can imagine, my nephew Drew was sick of being the only male in the family of cousins! He is my God son as well so he was hoping to have a "God brother". I was his last hope to provide him with a boy to play with. For our gender reveal to the kids we decided to place a piece of paper with the gender written on it inside of their Easter eggs. Well once they read the baby was a girl chaos ensued for poor Drew. This was the third time he had lost out on the chance of having another boy in the family.

My daughter is now 9 months and Drew is her favorite cousin hands down. He makes her laugh and is teaching her all the "boy things".
