This is the terrifying moment a driver lost control of his vehicle on the M60 in the UK when he "had a seizure" at the wheel.

Dramatic dashcam footage, which was filmed on March 26 at Bredbury Junction, shows the Nissan hatchback veer across all three lanes of the motorway and smash into the roadside barrier.

The vehicle then careers back right the way across the M60 and collides with the barrier on the other side before coming to rest on the hard shoulder.

The filmer immediately stopped his vehicle to help.

"Driver had a seizure at the wheel...I stayed with him until fire, police and paramedics arrived," he said.

"He came around and was fine but still unaware of what happened," he added.

"I'm just thankful he was OK," he said.
