This video was taken on the London Underground and was an impromptu moment where a happy fella boarded the underground train, placed down his boom box and filled the small space crammed with commuters with French sounding music, he started to sing and moved around the train trying to gain recognition from someone. I caught his eye as I was smiling and was the only one to show my appreciation. It was sad that he was ignored but it was also sad that these people did not enjoy the joyful entrance of this happy soul, even if his efforts were for money. His efforts were joyful and at least deserved a clap of appreciation, but nothing. Talking over him, discussing where to get off as though he was invisible.
