Vessel Accident on the Lake Matano
Several men try to rescue a car as a wooden made vessel is going under in the middle of Matano lake near the City of Sorowako, South Sulawesi, Indonesia on May 3, 2018afternoon. The vessel carried a car and was underway from Nuha village to Sorowako. Matano lake is the deepest lake in Indonesia and the 10th in the world with the maximum depth of 590 meters. Many wooden vessels and rafts are used to cross people or vehicles between Sorowako and Nuha as an alternative route that connects South Sulawesi Province and Central Sulawesi Province.
