This is the moment a shocking head-on crash that left a driver with long-term injuries was caught on a dash-cam.

Footage captured in Poole, southern England, on July 14, 2016, shows the moment the Vauxhall veers out into the opposite lane and collides head-on with the Volkswagen Golf of Joseph Krolski, a university student.

Krolski was taken to the hospital and cleared for spine injury.

But he writes that even two years after the incident, he still suffers from pain and has to see a specialist.

He writes: "I am dealing with neck and shoulder pain still almost two years after the crash.

"I go to the chiropractor every month which really helps stop all of the pain but the knots, stiffness and pain come back after a week."

It is unknown what caused the other driver to move into the filmer's path.

Krolski adds: "I wasn't told why the man was going straight at me.

"We were both breathalyzed at the scene and were both clear."
