Thousands of pilgrims come to the cemetery sultan palembang crater tengkurep. This cemetery is located in 3 villages of boombaru palembang. tradition ahead of this Ramadan is able to suck the local and foreign tourists. not only residents of Palembang, pilgrimage activity is also followed by pilgrims from malaysia, Singapore, Yemen and saudi arabia. pilgrimage is done by walking about eight kilometers from kuto market area, 9 ilir to one ilir. these pilgrims went to the palembang sultanate cemetery which was built in 1728 AD by sultan mahmud badarudin one palembang. this king is known as a wise and just leader and memorize the Koran. sultan mahmud badarudin one is also known to have good relations with habaib, sultan palembang darussalam. sultan iskandar mahmud badaruddin said this pilgrimage is a tradition before the holy month of ramadhan, as well as remember the struggle of palembang sultanate darussalam and the habaib in developing the religion of islam. Similar Habib Nagib Syekhbubakar, as the board of pilgrims of kubro palembang explains, continues to preserve this tradition and hopes this activity reminds Muslims about the services of Islamic fighters spreading the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as well as being an impressive religious tour.
