Helicopter picks up water from lake to fight fast-moving Southern California fire

Fire crews tended to a blaze in Corona, southeast of Los Angeles, on July 19.

The Skyline fire broke out at around 3 pm, according to local media, growing to about 75 acres by the early evening. Authorities issued mandatory evacuation orders for households in the area as around 230 personnel worked to contain the blaze.

This video shared to Twitter shows a helicopter picking up water to counter the flames. Plumes of thick smoke can be seen in the background.

Local media has yet to report the cause of the fire.
