The Carr fire grew to almost 100,000 acres on July 29, destroying hundreds of structures in its path.

This video, shared to Facebook by Shasta County resident Mark Daly, shows the remains of property near Placer Street. The structure is seen reduced to rubble, and the trees and ground blackened by the blaze. Local media reported that more than 800 structures have been destroyed, and 5,000 are threatened.

Six deaths have resulted from the tragedy, including a five- and four-year-old who were stranded when flames swept through their family's rural property on Thursday. Their great-grandmother, who was with them, also died.

Mass evacuations continued underway as the fire stood at 17% containment as of Sunday night.
