Wacky inventor converts fairground DODGEM into a car using engine from a mobility scooter
A madcap inventor has found a unique way to avoid bumper-to-bumper traffic after turning a DODGEM into a car. Wacky Mark Harper, 46, can often be seen turning heads in his home town by riding along the high street in the converted fairground ride. He spent almost £2,500 on stripping the old theme park classic before kitting it out with a mobility scooter engine, caravan battery, LED lights and a sound system.
