Smart crow rejects smaller sardine, demands big fish from friendly vendor
This intelligent crow won’t settle for anything but the biggest fish.
It stays put, demanding a bigger meal, and flies away only after getting a big mackerel.
Majeed, a fish vendor in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, feeds a crow which visits him daily.
The crow sits on the sidebar of his pushcart and leaves only after getting its treat.
Recently, it noticed that Majeed was keeping sardines and mackerels in two different containers and was offering it only the smaller fish.
Perhaps feeling cheated the crow started rejecting the sardines and would demand only the bigger mackerels.
A video shows the friendly fish vendor offering his daily visitor a sardine.
Sorry, not interested.
Majeed pretends to take out a mackerel from the other container but offers the smaller fish again.
The smart crow catches the trick and the declines outright angrily.
It is only after he offers a big mackerel, it accepts the fish and flies away.
Majeed says he is happy to indulge his winged friend.
