Terrified bus passengers looked on when a fellow commuter started fighting with the conductor after being told to stop vaping.

The smoker, wearing a blue shirt and flip-flops, started sucking on the electronic cigarette while sitting in the middle of the coach in Quezon City, the Philippines, last Friday (November 30) during rush hour.

But the conductor smelled the fruity scent and told him to stop vaping. A fracas ensued as the man complained that the e-cig is ''harmless''. They then came to blows before the smoker was eventually wrestled off the bus.

Student Lyka Timan, who was a few seats behind, said: ''The bus conductor asked who was smoking vape inside the bus on their way home.

''The man was identified and asked to leave but he did not want to. He started getting violent when the conductor started using force to get him off the bus.

''Outside the bus, the conductor fell to the ground and the smoker started punching him in the face. Such a nasty guy.''
