Farmers in eastern India made an egg-squisite discovery after one of their hens laid an egg three times the normal size.

Sujata Das went to collect eggs from her chickens at her farm in 24 Parganas district in West Bengal state, and was shocked to find four normal-sized and one five-inch jumbo egg.

After being presented at a local agricultural fair, the chicken has now become a celebrity among farmers across India. This video was recorded on December 7, 2018.

When one think about egg what normal size comes in mind is little tiny egg but in west Bengal An Aboramally large egg has become the centre of attraction in the south 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. This hulk size egg is three times the size of a normal egg and more than five inches in size, now this eggsquisite egg is the talk of the region.

Things looked sunny side up for Sujata Das the hen keeper on Tuesday when she went to collect eggs in the morning and saw four normal eggs and one jumbo egg.

We have eight-ten hens in our house. Earlier they laid eggs but those were of ordinary size. But today, one laid four eggs out of which one was larger than usual. The size is thrice the size of the usual egg. We are amazed at the size of the egg sujata said

We have informed our block development officer about this so that we can display it at our agriculture fair. I think no one has ever seen such large-sized hen's egg.
