Never overflow! How to make a DIY water level indicator with an alarm system
This clever tutorial shows how to create a circuit that indicates how much water is in a container using a built-in alarm system, stopping any possible overflows.
By using blue LED lights as a visual indicator this homemade device signifies whether the water level is low, medium, high or full.
Wrapping the platforms in aluminum foil allows the circuit to be completed when the water level increases meaning the LED lights switch on and when full the alarm goes off.
Such a device is useful when it is not possible to see the water level in a container.
