Cheeky Monkey steals mobile phone
A funny video has emerged of a monkey stealing a tourist's mobile phone in Indonesia earlier this year.
The footage, shot by a visitor of the Tamam Safari park near Bogor, shows the primate holding the phone through the bars of its cage while someone poke to the monkey's hand to try to force it to let go of the phone. A member of the park staff helped retrieve the gadget by luring the monkey with food.
The filmer later wrote online: "a girl wanted to take a picture of a monkey and suddenly it took her mobile and went up so that it would be difficult for us to get it back. So we tried to get it back but we didn't succeed. At the end, we manage to break the screen on the mobile and the mobile split into two: the money got the back cover, and the screen fell in the bushes near the cage. So we got the broken screen mobile, without the back cover."
