African Safari - Elephant Charge at night
On the final evening of a weeklong safari, our guide (Penh) took us out at night to look for wild cats (Tigers/Lions). We encountered a female elephant and her baby. The Mother elephant charged the uncovered Toyota Land Cruiser, as i sat shot-gun (front seat) holding the spotlight for the driver to see. the tusks came very close to the hood of the vehicle (within a couple feet) and i shouted, as the other guests in the back of the vehicle hit beneath their seats.
