A dramatic footage has emerged of a pup hopping on to its owner's bike, apparently to catch some fresh air in a small town of south Indian state of Kerala.

The dog is visibly enjoying its day out as the moped cruises down a narrow and snaking road of Kottayam town.

The labrador was seated on all fours. The person who filmed the incident was quoted as saying that he found the animal very cute and decided to film the act.

Similar videos of animals enjoying themselves have increased over the years, as people have taken to social media to share more of the same.

A similar video captured in 2018, a dog was seen standing up and sitting down while pillion riding. The incident was reportedly filmed in Thailand.

In a separate incident, also filmed in Thailand, a dog was seen balancing itself perfectly while pillion riding a moped.
