A man cruised through an enormous fever of rays in Florida in a see-through canoe, with thousands of the fish visible through the clear waters.

The footage filmed from various perspectives on February 16 shows a huge group of rays getting ready for the start of their migration.

The man, a wildlife enthusiast known as See Through Canoe, posted on Facebook, saying: “This large gathering of Cownose Rays happens every year in the same spot but only lasts for a few days.

"The rays start showing up at a specific location and once the group reaches a certain size, which only takes a few days, they leave the area as a huge fever and migrate.”

While I was canoeing in a See Through Canoe I saw this massive group of Cownose Rays. I always have a lot of video gear with me because I love taking cool videos of wildlife while I'm canoeing and sharing them, so I was able to get a bunch of video from different perspectives, including a drone. The group of rays stayed in the same spot for about 3 days before it commenced its migration. A group of rays is called a fever.
