Organisers of the People’s Vote campaign for a second referendum on the UK’s exit from the European Union have claimed one million people marched today in central London.

The march saw demonstrators, largely pro-Remain, take to the streets of London on Saturday afternoon (March 23rd) to demand a vote on the Brexit deal. Pro-Brexit counter-protesters also attended the march, who are opposed to a second referendum.

Supporters of the so-called People’s Vote booed as they walked past Downing Street, home to Prime Minister Theresa May.

Organisers of the People’s Vote campaign have said ‘1 million people are estimated to be marching’ at today’s demo in central London.
